WZUM-FM back up; translator next

Earlier in the week, Chuck Leavens announced that WZUM-FM (88.1 Bethany) was backup and running after a week off the air due to storm damage. A short time later, Leavens also announced that WZUM’s (1550 Braddock) translator construction permit was officially in the hands of Pittsburgh Public Media after raising the funds for the purchase of the translator. Now PPM seeks the funds necessary for transmitter equipment. One may do so at wzum.org
