WTYM operating through LMA

We told you last month that Matt Lightner, owner of Lightner Communications and several central Pennsylvania stations was purchasing WTYM (1380 Kittanning) and its FM translator at 103.7. At that time, it was playing Christmas music and listeners could go to a website and suggest what format they wanted to hear.

Although the sale has not officially gone through and approved by the FCC, Lightner is now operating the station as “103.7 The River” under an LMA agreement with Family-Life Church until the sale is approved. The format is 1960s & 70s hits.
