WTAE names Liotus Sports anchor/reporter
June 20, 2024WTAE-TV (4) announced the appointment of Ashley Liotus sports anchor/reporter. Liotus has been working in the position as a freelancer for the last 2 years. She joins sports director Andrew Stockey.
Liotus is a Pittsburgh native having grown up in the South Hills where she graduated from Baldwin High School. She attended Penn State for Broadcast Journalism. Prior to coming to WTAE Liotus worked at sister station WJCL in Savannah, Georgia. She also worked as a producer for SportsNet Pittsburgh.
The daughter of a college football official, she has always loved sports and is really happy to work in the news room where “The Terrible Towel” was created.
