WTAE airs wrong lottery numbers

WTAE-TV (4) mistakenly aired the incorrect Powerball numbers on Wednesday so reports TV Spy. The station replayed the taped drawing from February 22 on Leap Day. General Manager Michael Hayes said it was mechanical issue and was caught in master control once it ran. It appears that no one who saw the gaffe had a potential “winning ticket” using the old numbers.
