WQLN TV / DT to split in two during conventions

For the next two weeks during both the Democratic (August 25th – 28th) and Republican (September 1st – 4th) national conventions, PBS will be carrying the conventions during prime time from 8-11pm. WQLN TV 54 (analog) will be one of many PBS affiliates carrying the conventions. However, the digital side of WQLN (DT 54-1) will not be simulcasting with WQLN TV during either convention. The digital side will be carrying the usual PBS fare you’d expect to see most weeks including “Antiques Roadshow”, “Nova”, etc. You’ll of course need digital cable or a TV with a digital tuner or a converter box for your existing TV in order to watch WQLN’s digital channel.
