Wood named PD of Houston station
March 25, 2014Clear Channel Media + Entertainment announced the hiring of a Pittsburgh native as the program director of their Alternative KTBZ (94.5 Houston, TX). Effective April 1, Elliott Wood will take the reigns of the station. Wood has spent the last 15 years in research and consulting working for Strategic Radio Solutions and Broadcast Architechture. In Pittsburgh, Wood worked for Clear Channel stations WKST (96.1) and WXDX (105.9). He also launched and programmed one of the area’s early alternative stations – X15 – WXVX-AM (1510 Monroeville), now WPGR.
