WMBS’ Phil Michael dies
June 6, 2024WMBS (590; W266DB 101.1 Uniontown) announced the death this morning of talk show host 51-year-old Phil Michael. His death is the result of injuries he received in an auto accident on May 3. He leaves behind his wife Tricia, son Noah, and stepson Ben.

Mr. Michael was a native of Uniontown and a graduate of Albert Gallatin School District and California University of Pennsylvania (now PennWest California) with a Bachelor’s in Education, and a Masters in Business administration from Waynesburg University.
He was a member of the Uniontown City Council for 7 years before moving to South Union Township. He had worked as a teacher and, later, a constable in addition to being onb the radio at WMBS.
