WDDZ will be WPGP

Effective May 13, 1250 AM will be known as “The Answer” – Salem’s conservative talk format. The new calls, WPGP are meant to recall when 104.7 (whose calls are WPGB) was a conservative talk station. Since last summer 104.7 has carried the “Big” country format. 1250 already has a website up although the information isn’t complete – am1250theanswer.com. Syndicated hosts include Michael Medved, Mike Gallagher, and Dennis Prager. Salem bought 1250 from Disney in February for $1 Million.
WPGP has a Facebook page as well proclaiming the May 13 starting date.
I wonder what WPIT is going to do with all of that vacated air time?
