Theoret Memorial Concert this Friday

Sandy Mason Theoret, songwriter and Tarentum native, will be remembered Friday, April 1 at a memorial concert being held at the VFW in Natrona Heights. Theoret got her start singing with Joe Negri on WTAE’s “Popeye and Friends” in the 1960s. Later, she would go on to write 500 songs, many of which have been recorded by artists like Garth Brooks, Julie Andrews, Crystal Gayle, Robin Gibb, and Helen Reddy.
