Radio stations that are CBS Radio News affiliates began to have problems on Monday when the network who distributes the CBS World News Roundup and other programming went down. According to Radio Ink, the outage was due to a cyber attack.

Skyvue CEO Steve Jones said the company, “experienced unauthorized access to its IT environment, resulting in interrupted technical services.” He urged affiliates to fill the time with local programming as a full investigation into the matter got underway. Some stations were eventually able to receive the spots via other means while others ended up resorting to using other feeds including the NBC news breaks offered through Metro Networks.

Skyview is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
