One down; four left
August 1, 2019A drive down southbound McKnight Road this afternoon showed a different view to an observant radio man. Tower number 4 at the former KQV-AM site in Ross has been dismantled. We couldn’t get a picture, but it looks like a missing tooth on a kid.
The site was sold by Calvary Inc. to Vertical Bridge NTCF LLC in April for $765,000. According to their website, “Vertical Bridge currently has more than 267,000 owned and managed sites nationwide, including wireless and broadcast towers, rooftops, land parcels, and billboards. These assets have been assembled through more than 250 acquisitions and 180 real estate transactions, and we continue to grow and enhance our infrastructure each year to meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
Sad to see, but nothing lasts forever.
It would be interesting to know why they took down tower 4 first and how long it took to take it down. I would like to know what their plans are for the site.
Any information on when the new site will be up and running?
