Looking for work?
April 13, 2021Seems that a couple of rare radio jobs are open in the market…
Westmoreland Gold – more specifically WCNS (1480 Latrobe) and WXJX (910 Apollo) – seeks a morning show (6-10 A)jock for their classic hit station. The sale is in progress from LHTC Media to Maryland Media One. The new owner is currently renovating a Downtown Greensburg property to house the stations. Send your resume to Steve@MarylandMediaOne.net
iHeart Pittsburgh appears to be seeking a “part-time on-air announcer” – where you would also be responsible for running the board, maintaining logs and the usual stuff. Check it out on LinkedIn.
Salem is looking for a producer. This full-time position requires producing a 2-hour talk show as well as some knowledge in video production and editing (likely for social media). The job sounds perfect for someone who is creative in multimedia. See job description here; apply here.
Update: 04/14/21
We also hear WLTJ (92.9) is looking to fill its mid-day time slot. Steel City Media is looking for local talent. See info for where to send your demo here.
Good luck!
Kind of surprised I didn’t see this one posted here last month.

For the record, I have never been into posting job availabilities. Since I saw so many in a day yesterday, I thought I would give it a try… something new. What the hay!
Maybe it’s a new opportunity for you, Eric. You could become the Indeed of the broadcasting biz.
Haha… I’ll post as I find them but we’ll leave the true matchmaking to the pros!
