Loesch to take over evening news on WPXI

As many have predicted, WPXI-TV (11) is moving Gordon Loesch from mornings to the evening newscasts following David Johnson’s retirement last month after 40 years. Similar to Johnson, Loesch has spent many years at WPXI having started in 2004 and has worked on some major stories throughout the Pittsburgh region.

His new shift will begin January 20 along side Lisa Sylvester for the 5:00, 6:00 and 11:00 p.m. newscasts as well as the 6:30 and 10:00 p.m. slots on WPGH-TV (53).
