KQV going non-comm
August 30, 2018Robert and Ashley Stevens of Broadcast Communications, Inc. have filed Form 316 to convert KQV (1410) to a non-commercial facility. That would make it a full sister to WKGO (88.1 Murrysville) under the Broadcast Educational Communications, Inc. umbrella. No word as to why the change is being made. KQV was sold to BCI earlier this year without the Ross Township tower site. It has a silent authority which is good until June 2019.
What frequency would it be on?
Still 1410. AM non-comms don’t have a limit.
Here’s hoping the new owners will offer something unique, not unlike a pop-standards station such as WIZZ Greenfield Massachusetts or an oldies format not unlike WGVU/WGVS in Grand Rapids Michigan.
What frequency would it be on?
I dunno. I’ll ask Kenneth.
