KDKA + WPKD hire native for General Manager role

CBS has appointed Western Pennsylvania native Julie Eisenman as the new General Manager at KDKA-TV (2) and WPKD-TV (19). She will take over for the retiring Chris Cotungo. Eisenman is a 1997 graduate of what was then Clarion University and has been working at WNEP in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre since 2021. She has worked at several stations including WPXI (11) in the late 1990s.

Cotungo has been the GM since 2019 and has been with KDKA since 2002 starting as advertising sales director. He told the Tribune-Review that this was his decision to retire after the birth of his first grandchild. He and his wife will move to North Carolina to be close to their family.
