KDKA reconnoitered

With Audacy showing the door to employees across the country, you can expect lineup changes to occur. Kevin Battle, co-anchor of the KDKA-AM (1020/W261A 100.1) morning show was one of two on-air departures at the Pittsburgh cluster this week along with Kristen Buccigrossi of WDSY (107.9).

With Battle’s exit and an already trim staff, it means shuffling the players – especially since it would look pretty bad if others were hired. The following schedule was announced this morning effective August 29:

5:30 – 10:00 a.m. – Larry Richert & Marty Griffin along with Paul Rasmussen with news and Kathy Berggren with traffic.

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Paul Zeise (who moves over from KDKA-FM (93.7)

2:00 – 6:00 p.m. – Rick Dayton
