It’s official: The Pirates to KDKA-FM

The Pittsburgh Pirates and KDKA-FM (93.7) have signed a multi-year broadcast rights deal on Wednesdya. All games will be broadcast on the all-sports station with the Pirates broadcasting team remaining in place. The agreement comes after a five-year contract the team had with Clear Channel for WPGB-FM (104.7). Prior to that , the Pirates had been on KDKA-AM (1020) for nearly 50 years.
