In Memory: Marvin Lee “Goose” Goslin
October 14, 2013Marvin Lee “Goose” Goslin passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 12 at the age of 64. Goslin is best known in Pittsburgh radio for having been the sports director and announcer for KDKA-AM for 20 years. He left KDKA at the end of 2003 to pursue other interests.
Goslin is survived by his wife, Shelley; daughter Jennifer; brother Robert; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.

He was one of a kind . A ” character ” in many ways and I enjoyed working with him when he started as a part time announcer at WDAD and later on our IUP football broadcasts. Oh the stories ! Rest in peace my friend .
Goose was a solid pro. And with his voice, if he told you something on the air, you could take it to the bank that it was so. Proud to have known him.
I worked with Goose when he worked at KQV from 1980 thru 1985..A solid Pro who knew his sports.. If you had a question , he always had the correct answer. Now he rejoins Steve Lohle, Mark Otto Shaffer and Robert W. Dickey as they pass together thru the gates of Radio Heaven together.You all will be missed
