Help our friend, Chris Lash

November 3, 2021 Off By Eric O'Brien

Chris Lash has been a part of the area radio scene for many years. He had his start in his hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania and was in the air in Pittsburgh at WSHH (99.7) and WLTJ (92.9). He eventually moved up to Punxsutawney where he headed things at Renda Broadcasting in that region. For several years he was even at Gobbler’s Knob on February 2!

Over the last several years, Chris has been in radio ownership in various locations including his religious station in Indiana, PA and stations in Youngstown and other areas. For a time, Chris wrote some articles for PBRTV as correspondent from Central Pennsylvania.

But now Chris needs our help. His wife, Kathy, explains…

Hey everyone! This is my husband Chris Lash. He’s been in the radio world since the age of 13. He is well known all over. He got admitted from the ER on October 16th for a infection on his foot that turned septic. It spread to the blood stream and has taken over his body. We are not sure of the outcome at this time. There is fluid building up daily on his lungs. He is on the highest level of oxygen (65L) and could be placed on a ventilator soon. I have missed many hours of work and plan to have to miss more as he was rushed to St. Thomas West Friday October 29th via ambulance. I am needing all the help I can to make sure everything is taken care of for him and making sure I am able to be there every step of the way through this unexpected time. Please share and donate if you can. All prayers are needed too! He is a father, husband, and most of all a pop pop.
