Former KDKA News Director Wean has died

Carolyn Wean, the first female news director and the first female general manager of a Pittsburgh television station, has died. She was 68. Wean was news director at KDKA-TV (2) from 1977-78 and later served as station and general manager. She then went on to other markets before returning to Pittsburgh and WQED Multimedia where she was Vice-President of Special Products.
