‘DUQ sale stalls

Yesterday was the 90th day after the sale agreement was announced for WDUQ-FM (90.5) to WYEP-FM (91.3) and Essential Public Media. It should also have been the day that the two parties signed a purchase agreement, but it didn’t happen. Apparently a couple of details still need to be worked out, but WYEP board chairman Marco Cardamone said the agreement should be completed next week.
The asset purchase agreement is the first step in filing for ownership change with the FCC.
