Dr. Tom goes Nationwide

Our friend and PBRTV reader Dr. Tom Arno has made some serious waves with his local afternoon show on WMVL “Cool 101.7” in Meadville, as well as being part of the “D.C. and the Family” syndicated show. However, the “retired” Cardiologist is now he is going into syndication with his own show. The new show is called “The Morning Show in your Radio.” The cast includes Dr. Tom, “Radiowerks” (The network for the show) owner Mike McKendree, Paul Mullan formerly from WWHC 92.3 in Oakland, Maryland, Vince Strugala from the former “WGLU 92.1” in Johnstown, Pa. with Sports, and former “B-94” (Pittsburgh) and “Power 92” talent Christine Fox will handle news. The show will be station friendly allowing local affiliates to add music or local news, etc. depending on the type of format an affiliate has. The affiliate list (so far) includes WWGE 1400 & WKGE 850 in Johnstown, Pa, WWHC 92.3 in Oakland, Md, WHYP “Cool 1370” in Corry, Pa, WGRP 940 in Greenville and soon to be added to “Cool 101.7” in Meadville (though it is not clear if the 6-9am show will be tape delayed for later in the morning.).
