Captain Dan Geary

Up in Erie, Captain Dan Geary will hang up his headphones at Mercyhurst’s WMCE (88.1 on Wednesday, May 31. Geary is not retiring but is leaving the station as it transitions to a student run and staff station. He has wakened with Erie residents for the past 30 years and will continue to be heard at groovyradio.net. His family invites his listeners to share their Captain Dan memories.

Joe Salzone announced on WMBS’s (590 Uniontown) Facebook page Tuesday that he is departing the station after a year and a half. He will host his final What’s on Your Mind on June 2 and he will depart the station on June 3. He has accepted a new job in Syracuse New York which is where he was when he came to WMBS.
