Classic newscast
December 17, 2012Check out the first five minutes of a 1979 newscast on WTAE-TV. Anchors are Don Cannon and Paul Long, the silhouette of the lady at the end of the clip is likely weather lady Nan Chapman. The theme music used is “Classical Gas”, the 1968 Mason Williams hit as done by Telesound.
My grandfather retired from Irvin works in 1979. So this clip is doubly awesome.
