Chris Lash to LMA stations

After Chris Lash had a deal in place to LMA his Youngstown area stations WYCL 1540 and WHTX 1570, one of the original people backed out this morning. He had sent an original press release that he told us not to put out after things fell apart. Fortunately for him, another LMA has worked out & it appears that both current formats will be dropped. Philip Cato will take over WYCL 1540 on June 6th with a talk format which could be a tough sell in a very competitive talk market led by WKBN 570. The other for WHTX 1570 will more than likely become religious with “God’s Church of Youngstown” dropping adult standards. More details to follow.
