Chisolm resigning

WPXI-TV (11) anchor Darieth Chisolm is resigning from the station after 20 years. She cites the fact that her son is heading into his senior year in high school and would like to spend as much time as she can before starting his college years. Additionally, the anchor continues to operate a separate business with a number of speaking and coaching engagements on her calendar.

If this seems like deja vu, it’s because Chisolm took a four-year hiatus from WPXI from 2000-2004. She started at the station in February 1993.

No date has been set for her departure, but it is expected to occur between late August and late September. The search for her successor is underway.
