Bogut & Cardille sign off but we haven’t heard the last of them
August 6, 2014Off the air since the sale of WJAS was approved last week, Jack Bogut and Bill Cardille returned to the station shortly after 9:30 this morning to bid farewell. Thanking new owner, Frank Iorio, for the airtime, the duo took about 8 minutes to thank their listening audience and sponsors for their faithfulness and support over the years. Bogut has 17 years in at WJAS and 57 years in radio. Cardille was with the station 19 years and celebrates 62 years in the industry. Neither have plans to back down and mentioned that they are looking into new opportunities.

I hope we haven’t heard the last of them, or adult standards radio.
Jack and Billy are class acts. Am honored that I got to work with both of them.
These are two of the best broadcasters that Pittsburgh has ever had!
