Bill Shannon leaves WYNE

Our friends over at The Press and Tower have learned that Bill Shannon has left Mercyhurst North East and WYNE 1530. Their article states that Bill left for personal reasons. Of course Bill is an Erie radio veteran and was program director for the former combo of K-104 & WEYZ and later over at WXTA Country 98. He then was hired over at Mercyhurst College to run their communications course and become PD of WMCE 88.5 / 104.9 before heading over to the North East campus to start up a radio course there. Our friend and morning show host at WYNE “Captain Dan” Geary is now in charge. More details as they develop.
