Berggren leaves traffic duties after 35 years
January 13, 2017I have been so blessed in my life to do something as a career that I truly love. In 1982, AAA and KDKA took a chance on me as a traffic reporter. I was just a kid back then fresh out of broadcasting school when I applied for the job.
And with that, a Facebook post to the KDKA Morning News page, traffic reporter Kathy Berggren announced today was the last day that she’d report the traffic on KDKA Radio. AAA has offered Berggren a position in public and community relations. She will still appear on KDKA and other radio and TV stations speaking about important AAA information.
