Area station receives 2nd place nod; Erie station receives mention

WKFB-AM (770; Jeannette) received the honor of 2nd place in Ross on Radio’s 2010 AM Oldies Station of the Year Award Category. The first place winner was WMTR-AM (1250) in Morristown, New Jersey. Third place was CKWW (AM 580) Windsor, Ontario – sister of the once famous CKLW now a news/talk station.

Also receiving a nod is Erie’s WYNE-AM (1530) which received the highest number of write-in votes for the category.

Winners were announced January 11.
