Retro Television NOT gone...

Pittsburgh: According to DCRTV, the Retro Television Network is not gone. There was a small dispute with one of the video distributors which took the channel off briefly. All's well and the service is back in service. See it on Channel 11.2.

You see, I didn’t think it was off. We still have it on Comcast 110 in New Castle. Now they did take off WPXI WeatherPlus (channel 111), which was black before Comcast removed it altogether. I’m surprised that WPXI just didn’t continue it as an independent weather/traffic channel a la WTAE’s subchannel.

I just checked . . . as of this minute RTN was on both 11.2 and 11.3 . . . no more 24 Hour Weather?? Why??

I’m glad RTN is back on the air, however, I’ve noticed a lot of their programming comes on at different times and odd times. “Bachelor Father” came on at 7:45 AM but yesterday it came on at 7:30 AM. I think RTN is shifting shows around again, which is a good thing, at least they are not like TV-Land where they run the same thing over and over and over again.

Troy, NBC discontinued Weather Plus.

I didn’t realize it was an NBC channel . . . I thought it originated locally at WPXI-11.
