Pittsburgh, Erie-Meadville:In his weekly email, Larry Berger has announced that the Saturday Light Brigade has a new affiliate. WCUC (91.7) in Clarion has joined the steadily growing list of program affiliates and will begin broadcast of the program this Saturday (2/9).
For the first 25 years the program existed, it was on WYEP (91.3). In 2003, the program moved over to WRCT (88.3) whose signal is considerably smaller. In addition to being able to listen to SLB over the its website, the program began to pick up affiliates. WSAJ (91.1) Grove City; WLFP (1550) Braddock; WIUP (90.1) Indiana; and WNJR (91.7) Washington are the stations WCUC joins in broadcasting the six-hour weekly program.
SLB broadcasts from a state-of-the-art studio in the Pittsburgh Children's Museum on the North Side.

Larry does a great job with SLB; it’s a very entertaining program that is very personable and real. It is one of the many programs recently added at WSAJ that has received positive feedback from listeners.
Disclosure: I am a former student programming GM and news director at WSAJ.

Thanks for the kind words, Todd. Indeed WSAJ has added lots of new programs heard nowhere else in our region and we’re glad to be part of the stations lineup.

I must also thank WSAJ for adding “Blues Before Sunrise” to it’s schedule. It was one of my favorite programs on WQLN FM in Erie before it was removed from their schedule. Keep up the good work.

I’m a DJ at WCUC and the amount of positive response has been A-MAZ-ING on the 1 episode of SLB that we’ve run so far. And I actually had the opportunity to listen to a portion of it, and it really is a great pick-up for any station that needs great weekend programming.
